Join author and design historian Emily Evans Eerdmans as she discusses the inimitable style of Madeleine Castaing--one of the great original French talents of decoration of the 20th Century. Leopard carpeting, opaline blue, black lacquer, and an eclectic mix of neoclassical furnishings ranging from English Regency to Napoleon III have all formed part of the vocabulary of "le style Castaing." Eerdmans will explore elements of Castaing's style and chronicle her legendary life and career. Book signing will follow at Potterton Books, Booth 8118. His work has been featured in many national and local publications, as well as TV programs including NBC's LXTV Open House.
